APEX was founded with a simple but powerful mission: to give learners a second chance at success through accessible, practical education. Starting in YMCA, we set out to support adults rewriting matric and gaining essential skills.

Word spread quickly. With increased demand, we expanded our programs and support services, including computer literacy and study skills workshops. More students started believing in their potential and we stood by them every step of the way.

APEX deepened its community roots by hosting impactful events and parent meetings that strengthened family involvement, while expanding its presence with new programs in Jabulani and Alexandra. A strategic partnership with ALX Africa brought practical education and career readiness to our learners
